Sisterhood Shabbat and Guest Speaker, Denise Mosk

Join us for our annual Sisterhood Shabbat services on Friday night, January 24, and Saturday morning, January 25. On Friday night, please join us and welcome our special guest, Denise Mosk, Women’s League of Conservative Judaism Intracontinental Region President. She will be talking to us about what the Women’s League does, including providing scholarships for students studying to become conservative rabbis, cantors, and educators.

We need as many people as possible to participate in the services, so please let Debbie Anderson know if you would like an English or Hebrew part or an Aliyah on Saturday morning. Also there are openings for anyone who wishes to chant Torah or Haftarah. It is always special when everyone brings food for the Oneg and Kiddush. We will need desserts, cakes, cookies, fruit, dip and drinks for Friday night. We will need egg salad, tuna salad, deviled eggs, lox, cream cheese, bagels, gefilte fish, tomatoes, desserts, etc for Saturday morning.

Let Debbie Anderson (281-413-3529) know what you will be bringing to the Oneg or Kiddush luncheon. Also let her know if you would like a part in the service.
