Please join us for the second class on Mussar, A Jewish practice of Character Development & Spiritual Growth. 

In our this class we will focus on the Jewish virtue (soul trait) of "Anger/Ka'as".

Each class is stand alone class so if you did not attend the first class you may attend other classes.  

Each week deals with a specific aspect of Jewish virtues (soul traits). Subsequent classes are on June 4 (Gratitude) , June 18 (Trust), July 2 (Honor), and July 16 (Alacrity).

Pre-registration is requested but not required or email or call 281-488-5861. There is a $18 fee for CSH members and $36 for non members. Materials will be provided.

Class Course Discription:

Mussar is a Jewish spiritual practice that will help explore the soul traits as you find & strengthen a balance for leading a fulfilling life in worldly & spiritual matters to help purify & elevate the soul. By cultivating inner virtues, we improve ourselves. The bi-weekly course has 6 parts, each deal with a specific aspect of the Jewish virtues (soul traits). The meetings will address questions & practices focused on the Middah (soul trait) of that week, with group members discussing their personal progress, insights & issues. These meetings create a powerful spiritual community reinforcing commitment & deepening our learning. May 7 Humility May 21 Anger June 4 Gratitude June 18 Trust July 2 Honor July 16 Alacrity Tuesday evenings from 5:30-6:30 at CSH Members $18 Non Members $36 For the 6 week course.

Our trained instructor is Patti Nesrsta.
