Special Yom Kippur Food Drive

Teshuvah is about change, a change for the better. As we seek to improve ourselves, it is also understood by most Jews that we also have the responsibility to help repair the world and our communities. As you prepare for your Yom Kippur Fast 2023, you can participate in our CSH Yom Kippur Food Drive; I will be at the synagogue on Thursday, September 21st and Friday, September 22^nd, between the hours of  11:00 – 1:00pm.  We will have our friends at Clear Lake Food Pantry pick up and deliver our donations, as they always do.

 **** Please note that cereals, peanut butter & jelly are difficult for the food drive to find, so please consider adding these items to your donations. 

Please include any non-perishable foods that you will not be eating on the day of your Yom Kippur Fast.

  Consider this simple act of caring for others as the beginning of your change going into this New Year.

  Please remember our next regular food drive will be on Sunday, October 22 from 1:00 – 2:30, in the CSH parking lot.
