Adult Education Activities

Two New Adult Education Programs will begin on Sunday December 8 at our Synagogue.

We hope to see you at CSH on December 8 when both of these programs will begin!

The God Talk continues...

Our Rabbi will continue the discussions regarding God, Atheism, Agnosticism, Ignosticism, and Judaism that we began for the High Holy Day Season.

On the second Sunday of each month, we hope to talk about Prayer, Making Services More Meaningful, Defining The Term 'God' In A Way All Can Believe, Jewish Ethics, The Afterlife, and whatever else we choose to discuss!

Our first session will be December 8th, at 11:15 at CSH. Anyone interested is invited!

"Is This the Good Place?

Please join us for a new program beginning on Sunday December 8 at 9 - 10am.

Join us on the 2nd Sunday of each month to view a new episode of "The Good Place". Following the episode, we'll discuss as a group, with Rabbi Federow providing commentary and answering questions.

A light breakfast will be provided.

About the Show

From creator Michael Schur ("Brooklyn Nine-Nine," "Parks and Recreation" and "Master of None") comes a unique comedy about what makes a good person. The show follows Eleanor Shellstrop (Kristen Bell, "House of Lies," "Veronica Mars"), an ordinary woman who enters the afterlife, and thanks to some kind of error, is sent to the Good Place instead of the Bad Place (which is definitely where she belongs).

While hiding in plain sight from Good Place Architect Michael (Ted Danson - "Cheers," "CSI" - in an Emmy Award-nominated performance), she's determined to shed her old way of living and earn her spot.

For questions and more information, please contact April Buchanan at or 281-748-3668.

Please let us know your ideas and if you would like to join our committee.
