| CLUSY was excited this year to be able to send a total of 18 people to Spring Kallah on February 17-19. Spring Kallah is a convention where high school students from all over Texas, Oklahoma, and New Orleans come together to discus Jewish studies, lead and participate in services, and of course just have fun with each other. This year Spring Kallah was hosted by Rashi, a Dallas chapter from Beth Torah. We all stayed at wonderful host homes on Friday and Saturday night. After Shabbat on Saturday we all headed to a recreation center for some fun Jewish "Oy"-limpics in honor of the 2006 Olimpics. There was dancing, basketball, volleyball, pool, and fooseball. Everyone who went had a wonderful time and met some amazing people. We're are all looking forwards to Regionals in Austin at the beginning of the summer. |
